Chabad Riverside was founded to serve and strengthen the Jewish communities of Cabin John, Glen Echo, and Brookmont, nestled alongside the Potomac River. Our mission is to create a warm, inclusive environment where every Jew—regardless of background or level of observance—feels welcomed, valued, and inspired.
Led by Rabbi Leibel Simpson and his wife Devora, Chabad of Riverside is a family-centered community rooted in authentic Jewish values, meaningful connection, and genuine care. Together with their children, Mendel and Mussi, the Simpsons are dedicated to building lasting relationships and fostering Jewish life with warmth and joy.
